“Have the privilege to present the Inter-African Phytosanitary Council of the African Union (AU-IAPSC) Strategic Plan 2014-2023.
Over the past several years, agriculture in Africa has faced many challenges limiting its production. In the efforts to stimulate and increase crop and livestock production, the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) was endorsed at the African Union Heads of State Summit as a New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) programme in July 2003.
We coordinate the protection of plant resources in Africa for the well-being and economic development of the Member States of the African Union (AU)
